     A few years ago I read a book by Ray Kurzweil titled "The Singularity is Here". In it, he postulated the rise of technology would bring about a new age of Meta-humans. Eventually, the human race will merge with a future AI and the next step in the evolution of homosapiens sapiens will arrive.
